This magazine article describes the way that the technological advancements made in photography by both Daguerre and Fox Talbot have allowed for the use of photographic images in various works, including periodicals. An account of Talbot’s experimental work is given to illustrate the concepts and fascination regarding them in being able to produce greater perfection and precision in capturing images. The capacity of photography to grasp the scope of details held within a certain area is considered to have surpassed the abilities of art, and further photographic creations are signified to be produced as a result of this.
