Title
Front of the "All The Year Round" issue Ad Page
Description
The image was taken from Charles Dickens' Christmas 1866 addition which held his story "The Signalman." Normally during this time, the ads were placed throughout the different works to have an image about what the work is about, however, because of his ad placement the story has a constant flow without having to stop and look at an illustration then continue reading. These ads have no pattern or way of organization. What I mean is that each ad is for something completely different from each other. Some are rectangle shaped and take up one section while a few are squares and are right next to each other. This could be caused by the amount of money each shop holder had to have a certain size on the page. The more money the bigger, the less the smaller.
