Lang did not capture the fairytale stories himself. Instead, he had extensive sources who collected them and transformed them into an influential collection. The Red Fairy Book includes well-known classics such as “Jack and the Beanstalk” and “Rapunzel.” The illustration follows a tale, ever since their mother died, brother and sister have not been happy.
