The video begins at moment of silence, taken at 10:50pm every year at the memorial, the time that Lennon was reportedly shot in front of the Dakota, 31 years ago. It then continues as the crowd erupts into song, singing one of John Lennon's more beloved works, Imagine. Each year, on the anniversary of his death, thousands of people from all over the world, flock to Strawberry Fields to pay their respects, toting with them flowers, candles, guitars and other musical instruments. All day and night, no matter what time, you will find people gathered together around the memorial, singing Give Peace a Chance, So This is Christmas, or Imagine, as well as countless other hit songs by John Lennon and The Beatles."
