Title
"I Remember the Real John Lennon, Not the One Airbrushed by History"
Subject
Friend of Lennon's details the real person he knew, not what he is made out to be.
Description
30 years after Lennon's death, his friend Ray Connolly writes about the person he once knew. Connolly acknowledges that there is this over-sensationalized view of Lennon in society today, that we worship him too much. John was not a perfect person, and Ray gives his insight into the ways that he struggled in his real life that are often overlooked. Connolly gives another perspective to this figure who is so often idolized and cast in a certain light, and brings into question the real person of John Lennon.
