Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rededicated Following 9/11

A New York Times article describing the rededication of the New York City Vietnam Veterans Plaza following 9/11. The article recalls how, before it was restored, the memorial was neglected: "Vandals broke the glass bricks, stole the brass lettering, and extinguished the lighting system, while the East River gales weathered its mortar and underpinnings." The newly restored memorial is meant to be "more conducive to contemplation.''
