Artifact #2: This table shows two critical factors for individualism and collectivism. The measure that best portrays collectivistic tendency is national pride, with a pool mean of 3.15 from a range of 1-4. Meanwhile, the individualistic tendency was measured using freedom of choice, which ranged from 1-10 with a pooled mean of 7.15.
This graph depicts China's accelerated growth. This growth is brought about by China's open-door policy, which brought in waves of foreign investment that was able to completely transform the landscape of China's industries. This can also account for the rise in individualistic tendencies given the abundance of resources that civilians now had access to.
