Background

On November 30th 1995 Bill Clinton visited Northern Ireland to encourage the peace process. During his visit, Bill Clinton along with the First Lady Hillary Clinton, visited and spoke in both Belfast and Derry/Londonderry. While on the road, Clinton had stopped at local shops to buy baked good and speak to the local people. Clintons visit had a large impact on Ireland and all of the towns folk wold come to follow him around wherever it was he was going. With that said, Bill Clintons visit to Ireland was a huge success with a heartfelt plea for peace in the country.
