The Cultural Impact & Influence: The Future of Women's Rights
The two bar graphs displayed help visualize the percentages behind some of the statistical data collected from measuring the frequency of incidents, gender, and when they happen. Artifact #5 displays the percentages of assault and harassment on women and men. Artifact #6 displays the percentages that were collected measuring the ages that survivors reported being assaulted or harassed for the first time.
With continued efforts from activists and legislators, the future for women's rights is promising. I predict in 5 to 10 years, we will be significantly closer to achieving equality. However, it may be a bit too optimistic to expect complete equality, as this is a very rich systemic issue that has taken centuries to develop, and consequently centuries to reshape.
With the continued valiant efforts of all involved, we can continue to change the face of women's rights. I hope YOU decide to contribute to the change!
