9/11 Memorial Ceremony In New York City On The 16th Anniversary At World Trade Center Site

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will honor victims of the September 11 attacks and the earlier 1993 World Trade Center bombing on Monday morning. Families will read aloud the names of those who died.

Every year since 2002, family and friends have met at the National September 11th Memorial and Museum (prior to the Memorial and Museum the reading took place at Zuccotti Park) to read aloud the names of all victims from the September 11th attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center Bombings. There are six moment of silents which correlate to the two planes hitting, the two buildings falling, the plane hitting the Pentagon, and the plane coming down in Shanksville.
