Photo of IRA Bomber Being Released from Prison

The photo attached depicts IRA bomber, Patrick Magee, being released early from prison in accordance with the Good Friday Agreement. The Brighton Bomber, Magee, was convicted of killing five people and injuring thirty one others in 1984 in the Brighton Hotel with a long-delay time bomb. His intended targets were the conservative leaders of the United Kingdom, specifically, then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, and her cabinet. Thatcher and her cabinet only narrowly escaped the bomb's blast. Magee was released early from prison after serving only fourteen years, despite being sentenced to eight life sentences, as a stipulation in the Good Friday Agreement.
