Bloody Sunday Newspaper Image
This is the front page of a newspaper article the day after Bloody Sunday. A big way of spreading news back then was through the newspaper. It was the number one way of getting information to the public and getting their own agenda out there. As this image shows the newspaper focused on the horrible 13 deaths that occurred, “13 shot dead…” are the biggest and first words read. It goes into detail about how it was just a Civil Rights march but was soon broken up by the soldiers.
